Stock Your Stash Challenge * Reverse Confetti

Hello and welcome to the newest Stock Your Stash Challenge by Reverse Confetti. This monthly challenge is a fun way to get inspired by a topic and the Design Teams projects. We're sharing and collecting projects all about THANKSGIVING and FRIENDSHIP. As we do not celebrate Thanksgiving here in Switzerland, I went for a "thankful for you, friend" card.

  • I wanted to use the cute bunny duo from wonderful Rain or Shine set and combine them with small fall themed stamps and colors to make it a fall card. I love stretching my stamps by combining them to create new looks. I also wanted to go for a clean and simple look.

I started by stamping all the images onto alcohol marker friendly paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then, I colored all the cute stamps with my Graph'it markers. I used soft, warm fall colors and stayed on the lighter side of my color palette. Next, I fussy cut all the images and set them aside.

Now, I used some masking take and Distress Oxide Inks for my background. First, I masked off the sky and ink blended the grass and then, I masked off the grass and did the sky. I made sure I had enough space left for my sentiment. This is super simple and very quickly done but I feel it's just perfect to make the adorable stamps the star of the show.

All that was left to do was adding a sentiment from This Says It All  and adhering all the colored stamps to my card using foam tape. I kept everything quite simple and clean but I really like the warm colors and the focus on the friends.

  • Small stamps can change the look of scene of a card. A few leaves or a pumpkin can add a fall touch, snowflakes create a winter scene and flowers or butterflies are perfect for spring. Just go through your stash and look for these small gems :-)
