Loads of Joy * MFT Countdown (1)

Hello and welcome to the last day of our MFT September Release Countdown. Only one more day until the release. Wohoo!

Today, I have three tags for you that I made for my husband and my two boys. I liked the color scheme from the Plaid Paper Pad and stayed within the yellow, red and teal combo with some green and neutrals.

I started by stamping, coloring and die cutting the images. I used Graph'it alcohol markers and alcohol marker friendly paper and ink to do so. As the images are quite small, I did not do a lot of shading on them.

Next, I die cut all the pieces I needed for the tags. First, I cut tree letters from the Personalized Tags die set - which is absolutely fabulous - from silver glitter card stock. I love this, because you can add amazing sparkle to your project without getting messy. Then, I die cut the white and patterned pieces for the tags and assembled them. I love to play with the Fold-Up tags because you can layer them so individually.

After the tags were glued together, I used some white ribbon and twine to attach the die cut letters to the tags. Then, I adhered the images to the tags and my crafty session was done.

Do you make a lot of tags for Christmas?
