Better Together * MFT Sketch Challenge 505

Hello and welcome to a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge inspiration.

I love stamp sets that can be used all year round and are easy to mix with other sets. The new Better Together Card Kid comes with one of these sets - You can also buy it separately. I mixed it with the cute Reindeer Cheer set and a sentiment from Festive Friends.

I started making the background using the Square Extraordinaire Stencil, Distress Oxide Ink and masking paper. First, I ink blended the light blue square and made sure the ink was dry before I masked it off. Then, I ink blended the dark blue part. I also spritzed some water drops on it to get some kind of soft snowy look. That is already it for the background, quick, simple yet fun, right?!

I stamped all the critters, the trees and the snowflakes onto alcohol marker friendly paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. To color all the sweet images, I used my new Graph'it Markers. Next, I cut everything out using the coordinating dies. I stamped and die cut the sentiment using a stitched sentiment strip.

Now all that was left to do was assemble the card. I adhered the sentiment banner with foam tape to create a ground for my critters to stand on. Then, I added all the small images using foam tape as well. The tiny snowflakes complete the image. You could also use sequins here but I thought, the snowflakes are just so cute.

I hope you got inspired! :-)
