I started by stamping the two images on alcohol marker friendly paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Next, I colored the moose and the snow globe using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I tried to stick to the color combo as close as possible. This is a color combo I wouldn't pick naturally, I just wouldn't have thought of this but I feel like it's pretty fun and I'm surprised how well these colors go together.
After the coloring was done, I cut them out and set them aside. I wanted my layout to be clean and simple, so I went for an easy to make background. I'm such a fan of the Extraordinaire Stencil collection. This star stencil is one of the newest and I love it. I used only one Distress Ink color for the ink blending but I did create an ombré look in leaving the center of the star white and adding more and more color to the tips of the star.
After the quick but fun background was done, I die cut the panel using a stitched rectangle die and glued it to my card base. I adhered the images with foam tape and stamped a greeting in black. Now, for the finishing touch, I added a bit of glitter using Stickles (glitter glue).
