As I mentioned in a previous blogpost, I love the Extraordinaire Stencil collection. These stencils are just so useful and fun to play with. First, I used the stencil as a guide for my stamping. I adhered the stencil to my paper with a temporary adhesive (Purple Tape) and put this bundle into my Misti stamping tool. This way, I knew exactly where to stamp to get a circe of little stamped images for my background.
When the stamping was done, I did not remove the stencil. I colored the small images using colored pencils and the stencil was still in place. This way, it was in the perfect spot for my next step: ink blending. I used a blending tool and a grey Distress ink to add some color to the edges of my circle background.
Now that the background was done, I stamped, colored and die cut the cute little mummy and adhered it to my panel using foam tape. I stamped a fun greeting in green Distress Oxide ink and glued my panel to the card base. You can't really see it, but I added some glitter glue (Stickles) to the background and the little basket for a little bling on my project. I think this turned out so cute and it's really not hard to recreate. :-)
