Dive Into Fun * MFT Sketch Challenge 502

Hello and welcome
to a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge inspiration. I had some leftovers from other projects that were lying on my desk. I really wanted to give this adorable jellyfish a home on a card, so here we go...

I had already colored the jellyfish weeks ago, so this was a super quick card to make. As I was thinking about the color combo for this project, I found the purple (also pre-colored) shell. I liked the purple with the coral and added turquoise for the ocean. Yes, this is a card made of crafty leftovers but I really like how it turned out.

Following the sketch, I created a square background. I used the super cool Square Extraordinaire Stencil, Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool. I kept the center of the square lighter and added more color to the edges. This gives my simple background some variety.

Next, I die cut the purple banner and glued it in place. The sentiment was also pre-stamped and pre-cut, so all what was left to do was adding it to my card using foam tape. I did the same with the jellyfish and the shell. To complete my card, I stamped a light gray sentiment to the bottom part of my project and glued down some clear droplets for a little something-something.
Do you have leftover pieces from other projects lying on your desk? Maybe they are perfect to play along our challenge?!
