This card is as simple as it looks. First, I stamped all the small images on my white card panel. I used an alcohol marker friendly ink and matching paper. I made sure, the elements are well spaced out. This part took quite a bit of time but I think it is worth an extra minute.
Now for my favorite part, the coloring process. I took my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and colored all the small images. I picked a color combo and tried to spread the colors evenly on my project. Meaning, I did not put a yellow envelope next to a yellow gift box for example.
For the sentiment, I went for a fun simple Best Wishes (because all my Happy Birthday sentiments were to big). I stamped it, cut it out and added it to my panel using foam tape. Then, I cut my panel to size and glued it to my white card base. For a little bling and a finishing touch, I glued down some clear sparkly sequins (which you can hardly see on this photo).
I hope you got inspired to play along. Check out the Paper Smooches Blog for more inspiration and information.
