Better Together * MFT Card Kit Release

Hi there and welcome to the MFT August Card Kit Release.

We have this wonderful kit waiting for you, packed with a buch of amazing products that are so fun to use all year round!

I started with my critters and the trees. I stamped them on alcohol marker friendly paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and Graph'it markers. I colored the bear, the bunny, the bird and the hedgehog in light and neutral colors to go well with the turquoise patterned paper. Then, I die cut them using the coordinating dies.

Next, I did a bunch of die cutting for the car and the road. It took me quite some time to figure out which color would match well for the cards details. I enden up using purple which I really like. It goes well with the lime green as well. After die cutting all the pieces, assembling them was easy. The large card die cut piece comes with dry embossed lines that help you where to put the lights and all the other smaller die cuts. Super easy, super fun! After all the car pieces were glued in place, I glued one more large card die cut to the back of my car to make it sturdier.

Now, I glued the street to the card base. I glued the critters to the back of the car making sure they are peeking out of the window perfectly and then glued everything to my card base. I stamped the grass and  added the hedgehog and the trees with foam tape. Now, all that was left to do was adding a heat embossed sentiment on a banner.
