Sending Sunshine * MFT Sketch Challenge 499

Hello and welcome
to a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge inspiration. I was in the mood for some summer feeling, so here we are... ☀️

I started by stamping the sun, the bus and the palm tree on watercolor paper using water resistant ink. Next, I colored my images using Faber Castell watercolor markers and a water brush. The ink dries pretty quickly, so I was able to do some die cutting right after coloring. I used the coordinating dies for this step.

Next, I created a super simple background. I did some ink blending using two stencils and blue Distress Ink. I love the square window stencil, it's so handy and easy to use for so many projects. Then, I glued my images in place and added a black stamped sentiment. I couldn't find a small image for the sky, so I drew a bird by hand with a black pen. I hope you like this clean and simple card and got inspired to play along.

Join the fun and meet us on the My Favorite Things Blog for more information about how you can play along and to get inspired by the Design Team.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a colorful day,
