Ice Cream Cone

Hi there, welcome to another MFT release inspiration.

Playing with this die really made me want to eat ice cream. 😆

I die cut both parts of the ice cream cone from watercolor paper. Then I colored them using my Faber Castell watercolor markers. The dry embossed lines on the die cuts really help you to get these details right. I love this, it's just so helpful.

Next, I stamped a simple background. I used a background stamp that I did not ink up all the way to the edges. I even removed a bit of ink from the stamp before stamping with a damp cloth to let the color fade out. I adhered the ice cream with foam tape and stamped a fun greeting in black. Now, I decorated the ice cream with a red button as the cherry and added some small die cut leaves. The sprinkles are simply drawn on with a white gel pen. I also glued down some clear sparky sequins and my card was done.

I hope you got inspired. If you want to see more fun projects with MFTs newest release, please visit the MFT Blog or check out my fellow DT members blogs (in the sidebar).

Have a sweet day,
Nicole
