This time, we would love to see your black and white projects with a pop of color. Of course, I went for my favorite color and a very fun stamp set. I also used one of my newest PS stencils. I hope you get inspired and play along.
I started by stamping the tape three times. First, I stamped it on my white panel, right in the lower left third. This will be my guide for the ink blending later. Second, I stamped it once on turquoise paper and once on white paper. I cut out the white part of the tape and glued it on top of the turquoise one. This way, my tape got some color without having to do any coloring. Well, I decided to add a bit of grey colored pencil to the tape to give it a little bit of depth.
Then, I did the background. I stamped the sentiment first, to have the right spacing. Next, I ink blended some stars onto my panel and because I had the tape (and the sentiment) stamped on it, I could space out the stars easily to go a little behind the tape but primarily around it. After the ink blending, I added three turquoise stamped stars and some music notes. Now, all was left to do was adding the cut out tape with foam tape to my panel and glue down a few star sequins for a little sparkle.
