Christmas in July ❤︎ mini series (Part 2)

Hello and welcome
to part two of my Christmas in July mini series. This is all about getting inspired to make Christmas cards in summer, even if you're not in the mood for traditional Christmas cards and supplies.

Non-traditional Christmas stamps

There are a bunch of funny, sunny or simply unusual Christmas stamps out there. Lawn Fawn e.g. has a set called Christmas Fishes which is a fun set to play with in summer because it helps you create an underwater Christmas scene. Create A Smile has another funny Christmas set with happy little monsters called Beast Feast. They are a joy to color all year round. I went through my stash and found this adorable Sun-Lovin' Santa set by My Favorite Things. I was able to create a cute vw bus card and a happy beach scene (which I was totally in the mood for). It felt like making a summer cards but I got two cute Christmas cards out of this. I think it's a fun surprise in December to get a little sunshine mail or to send it to someone from down under.

You can find a tutorial on this Santa card here: Sending Sunshine.

I hope you got inspired to search your stash for unusual and fun Christmas stamps. I will be back with more ideas soon, so stay tuned. ;-) If you don't want to miss a post, follow me by email (check the sidebar) or follow me on Instagram @frauvoegeli. In the mean time, you're welcome to check the Christmas cards I made in the past. Click here or check the sidebar under themes/Christmas.

Have a happy day,
