Big Birthday Wishes

Hi there, I have one more MFT July release inspiration for you. This cool die fills up your entire card! I think this is also very useful for masculine cards but still super versatile.

I started by picking a color combo. I wanted to use some of the pretty patterned paper and went for matching card stock for the Birthday and the Wishes. Because I wanted the birthday card to have some shine, I die cut the Big from gold glitter card stock. This is one of my favorite ways (besides sequins and gold embossing powder) to add some sparkle, because it's mess-free ;-).

So I had to die cut four times, twice from the card stock, once from the glitter card stock and once from the patterned paper. You will get leftovers but they are perfect for making similar cards in one go. After all the die cutting was done, I glued the patterned paper to my card base and glued all the letters for the Birthday and the Wishes in place. Then, I added the BIG letters using foam tape to make them even more eye-catching.

Now all was left to do was adding a little decor. I stamped, colored and die cut a little cupcake and added it to my card. Just for a fun little touch. I also die cut three golden stars for a finishing touch.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day,
