Hip, Hip, Hooray! * MFT Countdown (4)

Hello and welcome to the second day of our MFT June Release Countdown. Only four more days until the release. Yay! Today, we have new Stacey Yacula stamps, wonderful patterned paper and more for you.

How cute is this little hedgehog on his balloon?! I stamped him and the two small flowers on watercolor paper and water resistant ink. Then, I colored my iamges with Watercolor Markers by Faber Castell  It's so simple to do. You just add a bit of color to your image and then spread the color with a water brush. I love the watercolor look you get. It's not "perfect" and that's just one thing that looks so good with watercolors. Well, that's what I think ;-)

I wanted this little cutie to be the focal point on my card. But that does not mean my background has to be boring, right? The new patterned papers are so pretty. They can add such a fun touch to your cards. I simply die cut a stitched rectangle window and glued a piece of patterned paper behind it.

I glued my panel to a white card base and added the little hedgehog with foam tape and the flowers with glue. I made sure there was enough space left for my sentiment. I simply stamped the words directly onto the patterned paper.

The Design Team has a lot of inspiration waiting for you. Hop over to the MFT Blog to see more new goodies that will be available soon!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a happy day,
Nicole
