Hi there, how nice of you to stop by!
I have another flower card for you today. The MFT mid-month flower release is just around the corner! Only one more sleep and all the beautiful rubber stamps will be available.
Coloring this beautiful stamp is just like coloring a coloring page but you get a card out of it in the end. Such a fun thing to do!
I stamped the flowers in black water resistant ink and colored the flowers using my Faber Castel Watercolor Markers. I started with the lightest color, yellow, and added light orange to the edge of the petals and a pinkish red to the inside of the flower. I tried to get a smooth ombré look on all the flowers. But the detailed lines of the design totally cover up some imperfections so - yay for that ;-)
After the coloring was done, I die cut the panel to add a pretty stitched edge and glued it to my card base. I added a heat embossed sentiment banner with foam tape and my card was done.
Check out the MFT Blog for more floral inspiration! The Design Team created the most wonderful cards using the newest flower stamps.
Thanks for stopping by!
Have an wonderful day,
