Floral Fantasy * MFT Mid-Month Release Countdown (2)

Hello and welcome to the second day of our mid-monthly flower release by MFT. Only two more days until the beautiful release will be available!

Is there a color you like but still end up not using it on your cards? In my case, it's purple. Every time I see a card by a fellow crafter that has a lot of purple on it, I think to myself "you should really make a purple card one day". Well, here it is. :-)

I started my card the same way like the one from yesterdays post. I stamped the flowers on watercolor paper and used my Faber Castell Watercolor Markers to color them. I love that the stamp helps you to find the spots where the shadows could be. It was super easy to make this look three-dimensional because the stamp does most of the job for you. And I don't think about my light source to much, I just color how it feels right. ;-)

After coloring the five flowers, I die cut my panel with a stitched rectangle die and glued it to my card base. I went for a super simple and small sentiment and my card was done.

Check out the MFT Blog for more floral inspiration! The Design Team created the most wonderful cards using the newest flower stamps.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have an wonderful day,
Nicole
