Thank You * MFT Sketch Challenge 490

Hello and welcome
to a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge inspiration.

Sometimes we see a card someone made and get inspired to recreate a similar one. In my case, I got inspired by lovely DT member, Anna, and didn't even realize it until my card was done. :-) I'll link her card below, so you can check out her awesome work.

I started by creating a heart shape out of a scrap piece of paper. This would be my guide for where to place the words. Next, I taped the heart to my paper, and placed as many words on top as possible. Then, I stamped all the words with dye ink. Some spots were left, because I did not have enough small words, so I had to do some more stamping to complete the heart shape. My Misti stamping tool was very useful in this case. I also stamped three tiny leaves to make the heart shape a bit softer.

After the heart was done, I stamped the girl, the cloud and the flowers on alcohol marker friendly paper using Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink. I colored my images and cut them out using the coordinating dies. For the sentiment, I did some heat embossing with white embossing powder on green card stock and cut it out with a skinny fishtail die. To finish up my card, I adhered the images with foam tape and glued my panel to the card base.

Check out the card Anna made a while ago. I love everything she makes. Her use of color and her layouts are just fabulous! Here's Annas Blog: al-handmade.com
