Yay! The May Vault Release by MFT is available now. We have some classics that are finally back in the shop!
My card features the Spring Garden die-namics. This is such a wonderful set. I had a lot of fun die cutting and piecing everything together. It's perfect to use these scrap pieces of paper lying around ;-)
First, I went through my stash of paper scraps and picked colors I liked and went well together. I was going for a soft pastel look, so I picked two shades of yellow, pink and turquoise as well as kraft and natural card stock.
Then, I did a lot of die cutting. It looks like it took quite some time but actually, it was quickly done. The way the dies are arranged, you'll get a bunch of flowers or leaves in one cut. So that's cool! And now for my favorite part. I took my mat drying liquid glue, some small foam tape pieces and my tweezers and put everything in place. You don't have to layer the blossoms but I think it gives them a little extra. I also added two enamel dots to the bench and used a shiny silver paper for the shovel to give it a metal look.
You can add so many sentiments to this flower card, birthday greetings, a big thank you, encouragement and much more but I went for this one. It's always good to have a "sorry, I forgot your birthday" kind of card in your stash, right?!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day,
Nicole
