Todays card is stamped with the newest Stacey Yacula designs. Aren't these critters the cutest?!
I was in the mood for a relaxing coloring session when I made this card. I stamped the images with a light brown ink so I could do a bit of no-line coloring. I used my watercolors and a small brush to color the whole image. Then, I let it dry and went in with colored pencils for details and deeper shadows. After my coloring was done, I die cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die and glued it to a cream card base. To finish up my card, I added some marshmallow sequins and stamped a greeting in crisp black ink.
For those of you who are new to this technique, there's a video by Kristina Werner I can recommend. I feel like watching someone do it makes it easier to learn.
