to a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge inspiration. Signs of spring are everywhere and they inspired me to make this no-line watercolor card.

I stamped the flowers in Antique Linen Distress Ink on some watercolor paper. Then, I slowly colored petal by petal and leave by leave with my watercolors (from Prima). After the coloring, I spritzed some green dots on my panel and let it dry. Then, I die cut a stitched border and glued my watercolor panel on some Whip Cream card stock.
For my sentiment, I used the awesome Heavyweight Vellum and some white embossing powder. I die cut the sentiment with a Skinny Strips die and a second strip from cream card stock. I adhered the vellum strip to the cream one with a bit of double-sided adhesive tape. You can barely see it because the vellum is thick and milky. I cut the sentiment to be shorter and glued it to my card.
