Let's Celebrate * MFT Color Challenge 135

Hello and welcome to a new Color Challenge by My Favorite Things.

One cool thing about color challenges is, they make you pick color combos you might not have thought of, are unfamiliar with or just forget to use once in a while. This one was not an easy one for me, but I really enjoyed playing with this color combo.

I started by picking all the colored cardstock I needed and die cut all the pieces for the cupcakes and the polaroid frame. I played around for quite some time until I had a layout I liked. I stamped my greeting on the polaroid frame and adhered the frame to my white card base with foam tape.

Next, I put together the cupcakes and added them with foam tape to my project. I love the little add ons like the cherry or the candle, they are so small but really help to make your focal point more interesting.

My card felt a little too clean and simple, so I added a pink triangle shape and two green fishtail banners to decorate my polaroid frame. I also added Glossy Accents to the cherry and some Star Dust Stickles to the cupcakes.

I hope you got inspired to play along! Now I'm curious what you come up with! 😀 Join the fun and hop over to the MFT Blog for more information and inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a colorful day,
Nicole
