How cool is this new background stamp?! I started with some heat embossing using white embossing powder on white paper. Adding Distress Inks with a blending tool really makes these numbers pop. I cut my background panel to size with a rectangle die and glue it to my white card base.
Next, I stamped, colored and die cut the little girl and her balloon. First, I used Spectrum Noir alcohol makers and then I added shadows and details (like the stripes on her skirt) with colored pencils. I also added a few dots and details with a white gel pen.
Because the gils skirt and the background are about the same color, I wanted her to stand out a bit more from the background. So I die cut a piece of vellum to add to my project. This helped to keep the girl my focal point. I added a little sentiment banner to finish up my card and that's already all for today.
