You've got a Friend * SugarPea Designs Release

Yay! It's release day at SugarPea Designs! It's such a fun and playful release, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

For todays card, I went for a soft soap-bubble look using two new fun dies.

I started by die cutting the Interlocking Circle die from Masking paper (I use the one from Gina K, it works well for intricate dies as well). I placed the masking paper circles on my panel as well as the outer piece of masking paper, this will protect the background from getting inky.

Next, I did some ink blending with small sponge daubers (the once you can put on your fingers). I used a yellow, a pink and a tealish blue ink to get my rainbow bubbles. I colored them all in and then removed the outer piece of masking paper. Then, I did another round of ink blending. This time, I used a larger ink blending tool and some light blue ink to create the sky. After that, I removed the masked circles.

For my sentiment, I went for a mix of stamping and die cutting and added some clear sparkly sequins to my project as well. I feel like they complete the soap-bubble look.
