to Brighten Your Day * Mix It Up Challenge

Hi there!

Are you looking for cardmaking ideas after all the christmas card making? There's a new Mix It Up Challenge over at the SugarPea Designs Blog. I love to get inspired by sketches and color combos and I hope you'll join the fun.

For this card, I picked the sketch for my inspiration and a stamp set I love a lot that is called Whatever The Weather. It comes with many small stamps that are just perfect for that scattered look of the sketch. I added stars from another set as well.

I feel like tiny stamps are sometimes underrated but are just so much fun to use. I used dye inks and a smooth white card stock for my project. For me, this is the best paper-ink combo for cards like this. I also went for a soft pastel mix of colors.

This card turned out almost one-layer but I wanted to add a bit of interest to the borders and that's when the pretty Cart Front Element Builder  die comes in super handy. I added a white and a turquoise piece of cardstock behind my panel and my card was done.

Join us over at the SugarPea Designs Blog to play along and get a chance to win a fun prize!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day,
