Hi there and welcome to a happy little sneak at the January Card Kit by My Favorite Things.
I really love these adorable little shaker bottles a lot. You can create so many wonderful projects with them. For todays project, I went for a happy pastel shaker card with not one but three of the cute bottles.
I started by planning the layout and picking the color combo. Then, I die cut the bottle three times from white card stock and did some more die cutting for the corks and the stitched rectangle frame.
Next, I cut three pieces of patterned paper from the Watercolor Wash paper pack to fit behind the three windows. I stamped three sentiments with a clear sticky ink on three pieces of different colored card stock and covered them with white embossing powder. Then, I glued the shaker pouches into the die cut windows.
I die cut my sentiments using sentiment strip dies and I added foam tape to the back of them. However, I did not remove the release paper. I just wanted to add some dimension to them. You could use craft foam as well.
And then, I assembled the shaker. I glued the three background pieces on a white card base, making sure they would perfectly fit behind my bottle windows. Then, I put some sequins and the sentiments on the colored background pieces and - this was a bit tricky - glued my shaker pouches piece on top. I'm sure there are easier ways to do this, but in that moment, that was just what I was doing ;-)
I glued the corks on top of the shaker pouches and added some sequins and stamped hearts to finish up my card.
