Thank You Tags * MFT Hits & Highligts

Hello and welcome to this months Hits & Highlights by My Favorite Things! We're putting on the Glitz today and have some sparkly and shiny inspiration for you.

I made these tags for some homemade gingerbread gift bags. My husband gave them to people he worked with during 2019.

I started by die cutting seven white base tags. Next, I die cut three additional tags from Gold Sparkle Card Stock and four silver ones. I glued them to the base tags but only on the top (to give the glitter tags some room for the layering look). Then, I die cut the flaps, borders and circles from white or Silver Shine Card Stock. I glued everything in place and added some black sentiment strips with white, gold or silver heat embossing on them.

My husbands name means bear, so I thought a cute bear would be perfect for his thank you gifts. I stamped seven polar bears with alcohol friendly ink and colored them with Spectrum Noir markers. I cut them out and adhered them to the tag using foam tape.

The sparkly and shiny cardstock gives these tags a cool and festive look. What's your favorite project to do with glitter paper?

We have more inspiration for you waiting on the MFT Blog! Check out what my fellow Design Team ladies created!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
