This color palette goes so well for all kinds of (last minute) christmas cards. I decided to create a simple wreath and do some ombré stamping.
I started by stamping the wreath in light green dye ink and used my MISTI stamping tool to do this because it will come in super handy for my second step. I took another green that was a bit darker than the first one and used a mini sponge dauber (the ones you can put on your finger) to apply the ink to my stamp. Because my stamp was mounted to the MISTI, I could easily stamp exactly on top of the light green ink. To create the look of shadows, I only inked up parts of the leaves with the darker green.
Next, I stamped the berries. I did the same technique like for the wreath. First, I stamped the berries in light red ink and then I inked up just parts of them with a mini sponge dauber and a darker red. I repeated this process for the word Joy as well.
To finish up my card, I did some white heat embossing on Grout Gray card stock and glued my panel to a Grout Gray card base. I also added clear sparkly sequins to give my project some bling.
