Hi there and welcome to a new Birthday Project inspiration.
The Design Team shares ideas for clean and simple cards this month. We're all a bit busy this time of year but we still need birthday cards, right?! That's when clean and simple cards come in super handy.
I had these large die cut letters left from another project but you could easily die cut a large word from patterned paper or colored card stock. Your card has a focal point in no time.
A smaller die cut word on top (or a sentiment banner) gives a cool and different look without taking too much time. I adhered StickIt (double-sided adhesive paper) on the back of my glitter card stock before die cutting, that saved me time while adhering the glitter letters to my card.
I could have left the card super simple with just the two die cut words. That would have been totally fine but I wanted to add a little cuteness. So I quickly colored three tiny images (with alcohol markers) and cut them out with the coordinating dies. And here you go, a simple and quick but cool card for that one friend who's birthday is so close to christmas and you don't want to miss it ;-)
I hope you got inspired. Check out what the other DT ladies created! There's so much super fun and sweet inspiration on the MFT blog!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a happy day,
Nicole
