to a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge inspiration. I'm still in christmas card making mood and this weeks sketch was just perfect for a fun little christmas ornament.

I started with the stencil and three colors of Distress Oxide ink: Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick for the sky and Tumbled Glass for the snow. I used a piece of masking tape to prevent the sky and the snow colors from mixing.
Next, I stamped the cute little snowman with Hot Fudge (dark brown) Dye Ink and colored him with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. Then, I cut him out with the coordinating dies and added a bit of white gel pen details. I adhered the snowman to the panel with foam tape and stamped the greeting in dark brown. Than, I stamped some snowflakes with Tattered Rose Oxide ink.
For the string of the ornament, I used a tiny snowflake stamp and light gray ink. I added a bit of bling to my card with Star Dust Sickles and glued on a light grey bow to finish up my card.
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a colorful day,
Nicole

This is so pretty! I love the soft wintry pink sky. The design seems fairly simple, too, which makes me want to give it a go. Thank you for sharing your inspiration!
