My card was inspired by the sketch and the color combo. I went for a one-layer watercolor card with some simple but (I think) cool details.
First, I stamped the bear and the trees with watercolor friendly ink. Then, I used some masking tape to create a frame. I painted the sky and the snowy ground with watercolors and let everything dry. I loosely covered the bear with a piece of scrap paper and spritzed some blue watercolor paint on the background. Next, I removed the tape and colored the bear and the trees. I picked a warm grey for the bear to give him some kind of glow against the cooler blueish background.
Now for my favorite little extras. I spritzed the entire panel with white pigment ink. This gives the scene that snowy look. It is such a simple and easy way to give your winter project a little something. And to add just a bit more to this rather simple card, I heat embossed three snowflakes. I made sure one was overlapping the bear to make it look like its falling down in front of him. I stamped a happy little greeting and my card is finished.

I hope you got inspired to (literally) think outside the frame :-)

This is lovely! The colors you used are so cozy and soothing and wintry, and I really like the composition.
