Hello and welcome to the newest Hits & Highlights by My Favorite Things. This month is all about fall and/or halloween themes treats.
I rarely make treat bags but when I do, I love them so much and I have no idea why I don't make them more often. This little treat bag is for my mom, there's always a reason to thank her and I put some of our favorite Swiss chocolate in it.
First, I stamped, colored and die cut the moose. I used watercolors and colored pencils for some details. Next, I die cut two pieces with the box die and did some stamping and heat embossing with white embossing powder on the front. After that, I assembled the treat bag and it is super easy to do so. All the score lines from the die are super helpful and you'll have a cute bag in no time.
To give my lovely critter something to stand on, I die cut some grass from colored card stock and glued it to my box. Then, I adhered the moose with foam tape. My little tank you note is stamped and heat embossed on card stock and die cut with one of my all time favorite sentiment strip dies.
