I needed a baby card for a sweet couple that had a baby girl and this cute wooden horse was just perfect for what I had in mind. The colors are inspired by the beautiful birth announcement I got.

I started by coloring the little horse with alcohol markers and cut him out. Then, I die cutting three white baby onesies and one light blue one. I moved them around on my white card base until I had a layout I liked and one that went well with the sketch. I glued them down and cut away the access. These leftover pieces were perfect to fill in some empty spots on the upper left corner.
I added my little horse to the light blue onesie with foam tape and die cut a purple heart to decorate another one. Then, I stamped my sentiment on purple card stock and did some heat embossing with white embossing powder. To create the fishtail banner, I used a skinny die and my die cutting machine. For a finishing touch, I glued down some crystal clear flower sequins and added some white gel pen dots to the horse.
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a colorful day,
Nicole
This is so sweet! I really like the texture of the white-on-white onesies, and the focal pop of blue and the triangle of purple tie it all together so nicely.
