blue trees * MFT Color Challenge 127

Hi there, I'm here with a new Color Challenge inspiration for you.

I'm totally into making christmas cards at the moment and the color combo looked just right for a snowy tree scene with some dark orange accents.

I started by picking the matching inks to the color combo and stamped the two larger trees in the back with the lighter blue. I love that decorated delicate tree on the left, it was so easy to make it look special with that second layer of dotted lines. I stamped the small tree overlapping the others and then added the stems. On the picture they look dark brown but I actually used a dark grey. I just love how creative you can get by using unusual colors.

I stamped some snowflakes and added some more using Stickles Star Dust. I also added Stickles to the ground to make my snowy scene sparkle even more.

Now I'm curious what you come up with using this color combo. Share your project on the MFT Blog and get a chance to win a fun price.

Thanks a lot for stopping by!
Have a colorful day,
Nicole
