Purple Ocean * September Card Kit (1)

Hi there, I have another peek at the Starry Night Card Kit by MFT for you.

This time, I went for a magical underwater scene using Color Burst Watercolor Powder and a happy little narwhale. I love that Make a Wish sentiment, such a pretty font.

I played around with the purple Color Burst powder and this beautiful background was the result. It's always a bit of surprise how the backgrounds turn out when using these powders. I spritzed my entire piece of watercolor paper with my water mister and started adding powder just on the top of my card. By the way, I have my paper in a cardboard box to keep my desk clean. I moved the box to get the color moving towards the bottom but just a little bit. I spritzed a bit more water and let everything dry.

After looking at my panel, I felt like I had to turn it upside down and it looked like a purple underwater scene. I had this cute pre-colored narwhale on my desk and it matched perfectly with the colors of my background. Because narwhales are the unicorns of the seas, I felt like it has a magical touch to it and went well with the sentiment from the kit. I added some sparkly stars I die cut from glitter paper and that's my card for today.
