When I saw this wonderful teacher stamp set, it reminded me of Harry Potter. I stamped some glasses using two beanbags from a circus set and picked an owl from another new stamp set to play his snow owl Hedwig. I just l-o-v-e how playful this crafty hobby is.
First, I stamped my little Harry and his owl in a black alcohol marker friendly ink. I wanted him to have glasses so I went through my stash and found some beanbags from a circus stamp set that were just the right size. Yay! I drew the rest of the glasses with an alcohol marker friendly black pen. Then, I colored them trying to get their characters right. Yes, Hedwig is wearing a Gryffindor sweater on my card but hey, that's the freedom we have in creating, right?
After coloring my images, I cut them out with the coordinating dies and went for a simple background. I used one of my favorite MFT stencils to create the brick wall. A bit of die cut grass is all I added to it to create my little scene. To add a bit of magic glitter, I die cut some stars from silver glitter card stock and to finish up my card, I stamped a matching sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a magical day,
