Paper Smooches August Challenge

Hi there,
it's been a while since I played along this wonderful challenge but I finally found some time to make a clean and simple card and join the fun.

I used the beautiful Seasonal Tree die set to die cut the tree, the leaves and the birds. The paper is from Lawn Fawn and I love the patterns on it. I felt like it did not need much more for a clean and simple card.

I glued some of the leaves down with liquid adhesive and others with a tiny piece of foam tape. To create the grass, I simply cut a skinny strip of paper and glued it to my panel.

Because the topic of the challenge is Sentiments, I stamped the large word in a crisp black ink to make it stand out. For the smaller words, I went for a turquoise pigment ink.

If you would like to join the fun, hop over to the Paper Smooches Blog!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a blessed day,

  1. This is so cute! I like how the patterned paper keeps the design visually interesting while still incredibly simple.
