MFT & Friends * July Release

Yay! It's release day at My Favorite Things ...
and we have a bunch of inspiration waiting for you on the blog!



July is the month with the most family birthdays... my son, my brother, his girlfriend, my mom, my husbands godchild... It's been a birthday card making time for me BUT I love it! This card is obviously for my brother and it just tells the truth... I'm so Freaking Happy he was born. 

I stamped the Happy Birthday background stamp with Natural Hybrid Ink and ink blended the sky and the grass using Distress Inks. Then, I die cut the three letters from white and turquoise card stock and glued them together just a tiny bit offset. 

I colored the cutest little turtle and his yummy cupcake with watercolors and cut them out with the coordinating dies. To assemble my card, I glued my panel on a white card base, glued down the letters, adhered the stamped images with foam tape and stamped the sentiment.
