Flowers in Bloom Card Kit Release

Whoop whoop, it's release day at My Favorite Things! The newest June Card Kit is available now!!!

Today, I have my third card using the Colorburst Watercolor Powders for you. This time, I stamped my image in Versamark Ink (clear sticky ink for heat embossing) on watercolor paper and covered it with white embossing powder. I heat set the powder with my heating tool and then taped my paper to a wood board to prevent it from warping.

I put a bit of powder on my glass mat and mixed it with water using a paint brush. Now, I can use the colors just like regular watercolors. I painted the flowers and the stems and let them dry. Then, I wet my background with a water brush and sprinked a tiny bit of powder on it. I moved the panel to let the color run all over my paper. But I was careful not letting it move into the flower parts. I let everything dry again, die cut my panel using a rectangle die and stamped my sentiment in black ink.

Hop over to the MFT Blog to see more projects with this beautiful set!

Thank you for stopping by!
Have an awesome day,
Nicole
