Today I have an awesome die and a super cute cat stamp set for you. The die is actually made to make an interactive card where you can make it rain! How awesome is that?! But I wanted to show you, that it is still super fun to use even without the interactive part.
I die cut the frame from "falling from the clouds" from some white card stock and masked off a part at the top to do some ink blending on my tree. Then, I created my background using the grass stencil and Distress Oxide Inks.
For the coloring of the stamps, I used the no-line coloring technique. It's one of my favorite techniques to do and I adore this picture book look you get.
Arranging the card was super easy. I was going for a clean and simple look. To mix things up a little (I used to stamp most of my sentiments in black), I stamped the words in the same blue Distress Oxide Ink I used for the sky.
My second card is a card with a window. My background is glued to the inside of the card and you can see the inside trough the front panel. Here, I stamped my images with a crisp black ink, covered them with clear embossing powder and colored them with Zig watercolor markers. I added a branch and some leaves to make it look more like a tree and I also added some interest on the frame by using Distress Inks.
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a happy day,
