Did you know, that you can paint with your dye inks? Yes, you can!
I stamped the pots and the flowers in Antique Linen Distress Ink on some watercolor paper. To color my images, I smooshed some dye inks on a glass mat and picked up the colors using a water brush. Dye inks are water based and you can use them like you would use watercolors.
I started with a light wash of color and added more color (with less water) to create the look of dimension. After letting everything dry completely, I went in with some colored pencils to add a bit more depth and shadows to the project.
Now, I'm curious what you come up with. Get inspired by the color palette and share your creation on the MFT blog!
