Cute Paper Bag * MFT Countdown (3)

Hello and welcome to day three of our MFT April Release Countdown.

I make a lot of cards but I really enjoy to mix things up from time to time and make little paper gift wrappings like this cute brown bag.

I stamped the pretty striped background on two brown pieces of card stock and die cut the paper bag pieces from them. Putting this bag together is super easy, I used some double-sided tape and a teflon bone folder for this step. To decorate my bag, I added a piece of grass and a cute little bunny and some flowers. The sentiment is die cut by putting the word die into a sentiment strip (one cut, two dies). I think this bag is so cute, it doesn't even need that much decoration at all. Love it!

Another new product we're featuring today is this sweet little flower girl from the "Bundles of Love" set from the Pure Innocence line. I colored her with watercolors, using the no-line coloring technique. I love using Antique Linen Distress Ink to stamp my image, put on some music and then color my heart out. :-) To add some details to the image, I prefer doing this with colored pencils. It's much easier than with a brush.

Now it's time to hop over to the MFT Blog to see more new goodies that will be available soon!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a happy day,

  2. i have never been to your blog before. When I saw the title, I thought it was a play on words. "Mrs. Litte Bird - that is cute for a cardmaker!" My family name is Hafer - wie Haferflocken, doch ich Amerikanerin bin. Deutsch war mein Ursprache. Die Tasche sind toll.
