Sometimes, I find inspiration for my cards in movies or picture books. Can you guess the story behind that card?
I'm always looking for ideas to use seasonal stamps and dies all year around. That's how the idea for this white rabbit from "Alice in Wonderland" came to my mind.
First, I created a mystic black-darkblue-purple watercolor background and die cut some leaves from purple paper. Then, I die cut the bunnys head and all the little pieces I needed for his body. For the bunnys mouth, I simply used the nose die on the snout and glued some black paper behind the whole.
I needed a little die cut disc for the watch and found one in the "Turntable Die-Namics" set. I drew some tiny dots on the watch and added a gold border with a gold gel pen. To keep the gold element going, I heat embossed my sentiment on vellum with gold embossing powder. The sentiment from the "Friendly Raccoons" set was just perfect.

Another way to create something cute with this adorable "Cottontail Cutie" die is to just use the head and put it on a little treat bag. This would make a very cute decoration on your Easter table.

Another gorgeous set that will be available soon is called "Painted Petals". I used it together with my Zigs. I colored the stamp with my watercolor markers, spritzed it with a mini mister and stamped it on watercolor paper. I did this several times and added more color with a brush. I played around with my markers and a water brush until I liked the result :-) The sentiment is from the "hello, beautiful" stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a colorful day,
