to my first Weekly Sketch Challenge inspiration as a DT member of My Favorite Things.
I'm a big fan of fun challenges and I always enjoy playing along. Challenges really inspire me and bring a new fun twist to my crafting "routine". It's also a good starting point if you want to make something but don't know where to start. :-)
I went for a spring look with these beautiful stitched flowers. First, I smeared some Distress Oxides loosely on a piece of watercolor paper, spritzt it with a mini mister and let it dry. I added some water splatters and let it dry again. Then, I die cut some flowers and their centers from that piece of colored watercolor paper. The leaves were actually leftovers from another project (colored with Distress Inks). I arranged everything on my card and added the sentiment with a crisp black ink.
