Happy Dance * MFT Countdown (5)

Hello and welcome to the February release countdown by My Favorite Things. Let's kick things off with a super cute mouse and her happy birthday dance!

This mouse by Stacey Yacula is just the sweetest. I totally love the sentiment that goes along with it. I used the no-line coloring technique for this card. First, I stamped the mouse and the cake with a very light dye ink. Grout Gray by MFT is my favorite ink for this. Then, I colored my image with colored pencils. It does take quite some time but it is very relaxing and I love the result. For finishing up my card, I did a little bit of masking and some ink blending.

 SUPPLIES

Distress Ink
Mini Misti
Caran d'Ache Luminance

Hop over to the MFT Blog to see the whole stamp set and more new goodies that will be available soon! And don't forget to leave a comment on the MFT countdown post for a chance to win a 75 Dollar gift card!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a happy (dance) day,
Nicole
