My Favorite Things * Guest Design * December Release

Hello crafty people, today I have a very special post for you!

Christmas came early this year when My Favorite Things asked me to join them as a Guest Designer. Wohoo!! I can't even describe how happy and honored I am! I mean... one of my FAVORITE companies asked me to join them as a guest designer... how AWESOME it that! I'm one very lucky crafty girl!

I'm sure you've seen the new products on the MFT blog the last few days, right?! I love these count downs, they are just so much fun but you don't have to wait any longer because the December release is available now!!
I had a lot of fun playing with the new goodies already. For my first card I used the wonderful "Brilliant Blooms" stamp set as well as a sentiment from the "Hello, Beautiful" set. These flowers are gorgeous and go so well with the beautiful sentiments.

I did some masking and stamping with Distress Ink and then colored the pretty flowers with liquid watercolors using the no-line coloring technique. After letting the watercolor dry completely, I added some deeper shadows with color pencils. For a finishing touch I used a white gel pen for some details in the center of the flowers and spritzed some splatters to add a bit of interest to the background.

Here's a little behind the scene of my crafty space. It gets quite messy while I'm crafting even though I like to be organized. It feels wonderful to have a blank card base and a tidy space to start a new project and make a new mess ;-)

✨ Thank you so much MFT!!! You made a dream come true!

Hop over to the MFT blog to check out all the new products and get inspired by the awesome Design Team!

Stay tuned for more cards with the new My Favorite Things December release!
Thanks a lot for stopping by!
Have a happy crafty day,
Nicole
