Christmas Wreath

I love using non-christmas stamps for christmas cards. On this card I used a spring wreath and I got inspired by MFTs Sketch Challenge.

HOW TO: For this card, I mixed four MFT stamp sets. First I stamped the wreath and added a lot of tiny details. To make it look like there were some fir tree twigs, I used a small snowflake stamp and a dark green dye ink. I drew a line on the bird with a black (alcohol marker friendly) pen to and colored it like a robin. To get the look of the sketch right, I masked off a part of the card and colored the strip in with Distress Ink and the ink blending technique. For a finishing touch and some shine, I added tiny liquid pearl dots.

I'd like to enter the MFT Sketch Challenge.
