Ink Swatches / Farbmuster

Heute gibt es mal keine Karte...
No card for today...

I do have ink swatches for all my inks and markers. But with my Distress Inks, I somehow never did that. I made watercolor swatches with my Distress Inks, but not ink blended ones. I always thought it's too much work ;-) but it wasn't :-)

I ink blended all the colors on watercolor paper (250g/m2 - 169lb. on the smooth side). I covered up the bottom of the paper with washi tape to leave a white border for the name. Then, I die cut the swatch with the "gift tag" die from Paper Smooches and wrote the names on it.

Liebe Grüsse und einen bunten Tag!
Have a lovely and colorful day!
Nicole

  1. this is great! Struggling a little with the translation. Did you paint the inks on the tags or did you ink blend them on?

    1. Dear Pam
Thank you so much for leaving a comment. I wrote an english translation (in my not so perfect English). I did ink blend these swatches but I also did some using Distress Inks as watercolors (but there's no picture).
      I hope this helps.
      Have a lovely day!
