Potted Plant * Paper Smooches Guest Design #1

I'm so happy to show you my first card with the brand new stamps and dies from Paper Smooches as a guest designer for June. I had so much fun with all the wonderful things, I just could not stop crafting. So you'll see A LOT of Paper Smooches cards on this blog in June. ;-)

I cut out the flower from some white paper and adhered some washi tape on the back, so everything would stay in place. This made it easy to color the flower with distress inks using my blending tools. I used a post-it to mask the areas I didn't want my color to go. Then I made a little shaker part at the top of the flower and adhered some foam adhesive on the back of the entire die cut. This kept all the little pieces in place. For the finishing touch, I stamped the greeting with my MISTI, die cut the dotted border and adhered the black and white washi tape.
